Here's a concept that I think will help you a lot if you're getting started Internet marketing, or even if you're experienced. Many people think you have to go out there to build back links with SEO, build lists for e-mail marketing, or have lots of money for traffic, and there are actually many ways to get started in Internet marketing with out any of these without any cost list. In fact, all you will be risking is time.

You will basically find someone who has traffic in this case, a website.  Then, you will find a product owner or someone to do joint venture with, or use a product as an affiliate.

You want to use sites in a specific niche related to your product, which you can find easily using Alexa.com and Quantcast.com. Then you want to try to approach them, but I'll approach them from helping them monetize their site better. Do not just say think you are an affiliate or trying to market something related to Internet marketing. The value for the site owner, what will make there is ears perk up is helping them monetize their site/traffic better. Also, mention that it has nothing to do with SEO. Many of the site owners think I'm trying to do some SEO gimmicks, which I'm not doing it all.

So, remember to mention that when you talk to them.

Also I like to point out the fact that I will only get paid when they get paid, so I'm not charging any kind of fees or hourly charge.

Make sure to pick niches, sites, demographics that you figure will monetize the product you're advertising.
